    Job Description:

    As an accountant at Vopaq, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients’ financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic financial advice.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
    • Prepare accurate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist in tax planning and preparation.
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for business decision-making.
    • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
    • Collaborate with clients to provide financial guidance and improve overall financial performance.
    • Maintain up-to-date and organized financial records.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is strongly preferred.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    Experience Required:

    • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
    • Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and financial analysis.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple clients or tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial professionals.
