Job Description:

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, analyzing financial performance, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. This role requires a blend of technical accounting knowledge and strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to enhance decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries from auditors
• Monitor trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
• Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance regulations
• Experience in working with large datasets and transforming data into actionable insights

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA designation preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
