    Shift: 8:00am to 5:30pm AU standard

    Job Description:

    As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining the integrity of our financial data. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, receipts, and invoices.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and track expenses.
    • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with tax laws and deadlines.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing relevant financial data.
    • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to resolve discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and government regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required). Certified Bookkeeper designation (a plus).

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Experience with payroll and tax preparation is highly desirable.

    Skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
