    Job Description:

    As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and processing the company’s payroll activities efficiently and accurately. You will ensure employees are paid correctly and on time while adhering to internal policies, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Process Payroll: Prepare and process regular payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, wages, bonuses, deductions, etc.
    • Manage Payroll Taxes: Calculate and deduct appropriate taxes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Benefits Administration: Handle employee benefits deductions and manage relevant data within the payroll system.
    • Resolve Payroll Issues: Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, deductions, taxes, and other discrepancies.
    • Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring that payroll processes comply with all applicable rules.
    • Reporting: Generate payroll reports for management and external auditors as required.
    • Timekeeping: Oversee time tracking systems to ensure accuracy in work hours, overtime, and leaves.

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, including tax and compliance regulations.
    • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, or other relevant tools).
    • Knowledge of employee benefits and deductions administration.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
    • Payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional, Fundamental Payroll Certification) is a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for handling payroll data and reports.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
